This One Isn't Either (2006) refers to the work La Trahison des Images (1928/1929), by Magritte. In his work, just below the painting of a pipe the artist painted the words "Ceci n'est pas une pipe." (This is not a pipe). This One Isn't Either (2006) consists of two parts. The first, in the exhibition space, is a LED display that shows the binary code of a digital photo of a pipe found on the internet. As in the work by Magritte, the public does not see a pipe. What one sees is the digital binary representation of the pipe, in a language that nobody can decipher. The second part of the project is a website, www.estetambemnaoe.art.br.
